The Hidden Treasure in E-Waste, the need to recycle e-waste is well illustrated demonstrating how e-waste consists of materials that may in fact be useful to the economy as well as for the environment. It ranges from collection of precious metals including gold and silver and critical minerals used for technologies in renewable energy, to job creation in e-waste recycling. In this article, the author also discusses benefits of e-waste management like elimination of hazardous mining, control of pollution and energy conservation.
